Today I preached a message on leadership. I talked about the fact that leaders are in our plans at Church Central. The talk today was about the importants of using our influence for the cuase of Christ. "Leadership is influence nothing more or nothing less", John Maxwell. What I have discovered in my 35 years is we all have a level of influence. We should leverage every ounce of our influence to advance the cause of Christ. The cause that Jesus died for. A cause that is all about uniting a perfect God with unperfect people. You have influence! I have influence! If one person cares about your oppinion or has ever ask you for advice you have influence. We must use our influence for the cause Jesus died for. I will do what ever it takes short of sin to share the truth about Jesus. I love God and I love people. If I can be apart of helping introduce people to a relationship with God Im there! Will you help?

I love Church Planting

I am Pastor of Church Central. We started the church almost six years ago. This work is by far the greatest thing I have every been apart of. My family and I have sacrificed nearly everything you could imagine to insure the work continued. I am grateful for a family that believes in the dream that God put inside of me. A dream that will one day be reality. Milledgeville will have a church that is reaching out to every lost soul in this city. A church that teaches the truth about Jesus and will do anything short of sin to introduce people to a relationship with Him. Its already happening!
The enemy (Satan) has done everything he could to discourage me. His latest attempt has been to convince people who have truly put God first, to quit giving to His cause. I will not beg people to give! I will not quit working hard! I will not get discouraged! I will not slow down! I may have to work two jobs or three but I will not give up!!!! With God on my side I will succeseed. A whole city will be different! Satan you have had Milledgeville long enough!!!

my wife is coming home

My wife has been at a conference all weekend. She went to a conferences and events before. Our children are starting to say things like, "I miss my mommy", "I wish momma would hurry up and get home." It makes me feel for single parents. I am usually not a very caring person. I know that sounds bad, but I feel like a lot times people create there own crap. Boy was this weekend an eyeopener. Being a single parent, being the one person that is completely responsible for doing everything for three children is not easy. No matter if a person created the crap that left them single with children is irrelevant. I tip my hat to all you single parents out there man or women. You have my respect.

my personal life

Why do children fight? I always fought with my brother. I have a 3 year old son and 11 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. Today my 14 year old got mad at my 3 year old for drawing on her nightstand with a permanent marker then my 11 year old and 14 year old are fighting and arguing about what color the sun is or something they fight about everything. then the 11 year old could not take 30 minutes of his very important and busy schedule of watching tv to play with the 3 year old. I always thought if I became a pastor my children would automaticly be loving wonderful children that never fought. I am an idiot. You where thinking it! I love my wife and my children more than anything in the world but sometimes i wish they came with a manual or at least web support. life is normal. God change our normal!
